This is what I see from my favourite spot to pray at work. Sure the factory is behind me, but watching fish swim by and, if I merit it that day, seeing them jump up out of the water… It is quite something. I’ll always be thankful, twenty years from now even, to have been given the chance to take this in, daily. Isn’t this how we should feel about everything in life? To be continued

Mate, I hear you there. I have a spot like that in the mountains but it takes a while to get there.
I looked for one near work….epic fail. I hate the city.

And there I was yesterday,
feeling bad for you. My thoughts…Poor Michael – has to drive 45 min past the airport to do some shleppers job! In awe of the extents a person will go so he feels validated as an active participant in the workforce……..!
(Of course, I had mentioned I was in search of a job as well for those reasons (really, though, mostly to earn $$$$$$$$!)
But…. my general feeling was I’d rather learn to knit then work 9 hrs a day like the lot of you poor souls…
Hence I was pleasantly surprised to see your workplace isn’t so bad and thinking I may very well apply for a job.
Though sales marketing isn’t exactly my forte. I’m wondering if your boss could hire me as their graphic designer and I could revamp that pic to make the water blue, I’d probably add some swans in the lake, lilypads, and exotic birds flying in the background.
